Horace "Allen" Jordan

Horace "Allen" Jordan, 73, of Sliver Lake, KS, passed away November 26, 2024.

He was born August 30, 1951, the son of John and Ruth (Ruby) Jordan.

Allen served in the US Navy from 1970 untl1974. He had worked as a truck driver.

Allen was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.  He is survived by his wife, Cindy Walthall, a daughter, Misty Jordan, three sons, Ryan Jordan, Michael Jordan and Cody Jordan, a stepson Jason Walthall, two stepdaughters Amy Mauk and Cassie Walthall.  Other survivors include two brothers, Raymond Jordan, and Aurther Jordan, a sister Doris (Jordan), Kruger.  Ten grandchildren, James Fuqua, Skyler Jordan, Kyle Mauk, Jr., Chance Mauk, Jessie Fuqua, Cora Jordan, Kaylee Walthall, Dezirae Walthall, Delaina Walthall and Serenity Mauk also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Ruth Jordan along with two brothers, Roy Jordan and Donald Jordan.

He loved spending time with family, grandchildren and taking his dog, baby Bella, to dog parks and playing ball. He was truly a good man and will be missed.

Cremation has taken place.  Celebration of Life will be 3:00 PM Wednesday, January 15, 2025, at the Everest Methodist Church located at Ward Meade Park, 124 NW Fillmore Street, Topeka, KS 66606.The family will receive friends beginning at 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service.
