Harry Freeman Jolley

Topeka, KS – Harry Freeman Jolley, age 80, of Topeka, KS passed away peacefully at Midland Care Hospice on December 18 after a short illness.

Harry was a well-loved husband, father, grandfather and friend.  He touched many lives with his love, warmth, wit, and sense of humor.

He was born May 26, 1939 in Topeka and graduated from Topeka High in 1957.  He graduated from Washburn University with a Business Degree.  He was a Department Foreman at Goodyear and was a troubleshooter for Goodyear in Europe.

As he was growing up, Harry was active in and excelled at sports, including baseball, basketball, and football.  He attended the University of Kansas on a football scholarship.  Later, he coached his kids baseball and softball teams with great success.  He also loved his Jayhawks, his pets, hunting, and fishing.

Harry led a good life, was dedicated in his work, and provided a great example of how to live.

Harry is survived by his wife, Leslie, children Dana and Eric Jolley, Stacy Anderson (Daniel Caron), grandchildren Austin and Dylan Flohrschutz.  His daughter, Lisa Jolley-Sager preceded him in death.
