Gregory Charles Pearson

Gregory Charles Pearson, 56, of Silver Lake, Kansas passed away at 6:30 PM Saturday, April 5th, 2014 at St. Joseph Medical Center, Kansas City, Missouri following an extended illness.

He was born May 7, 1957, at Danville, IL, the son of William R. Pearson and Dorothy L. (Boyd) Pearson. He married Heather Stark August 23, 2002 in Topeka, Kansas. She survives.

Also surviving are four sons, Christopher, Cody, Lucas, and Jacob, and one daughter, Melissa, all of Silver Lake, Kansas; two sisters, Rhonda (Bryan) Wrona, Champaign, IL and Jamie (Richard) Perry, Savoy, IL, and his mother, Dorothy Pearson of Champaign, IL.

He was preceded in death by his father.

Greg was employed in truck and heavy equipment sales for over thirty years, most of that time at Kansas Powertrain and Equipment of Topeka, Kansas. He was a former member of the Kansas National Guard. He enjoyed family time, fishing, NASCAR, and working on boats.

Per his wishes, cremation rites were accorded. Private memorial services are planned for a later date.
