Gregory Shawn Miles

Gregory Shawn Miles, 66, passed away on July 6, 2019

He was born in Modesto, CA on Aug 6, 1952 to Warren Miles and Daphene Rayburn.

He is survived by - 4 sisters and 7 brothers and too many nieces and nephews to count.

Gregory married the love of his life Bonnie Lou Lowery on March 20, 1976.  They raised five children together; Christopher Warren Miles, Caderina Karen Miles Appelhanz, Michael Wilson, Michele Wilson, and Barry Wilson.   He had 15 Grandchildren and 4 Great Grandchildren.

Gregory retired from Butler Trucking of Kansas City, KS.  He loved the feel of the 18 wheeler on the highway.  He would always say "Driving a truck allows me to see the country and get paid too!"

He loved model planes and trains and was a big history buff. He found joy in playing chess with his grand kids, Camping and fishing, listening to Tales from Lake Wobegon, and he would never miss the opportunity to grill up some chicken and ribs at family gatherings.

Pappy you will be missed by all … May your woes be gone.
