Greg Fisher

Greg Fisher, age 57, a life-long resident of Topeka, sadly passed away Monday, January 1, 2024, at Stormont-Vail Hospital.

He was the son of Wayne and Betty Fisher. They preceded him in death in 1978 and 1999 respectively.

He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Kenneth W. Fisher, Steven O. Fisher and a nephew, Christopher Price.

Greg loved life and there was nothing more important to him than family and friends of which he had many. He graduated from Hayden High School in 1984, attended Washburn University and was a long-time employee of John Hoffer Jeep.

He enjoyed riding his Harley and he often said he liked having the "wind in his face and riding with friends." He loved the monthly Fisher-Fest where he spent time with his siblings catching up on each other's daily lives. Being part of a close-knit family was important to Greg and the Fisher-Fest will not be the same without him as he was "the life of the party."

He is survived by a son Trinity Fisher of Eskridge, a granddaughter, Ryleigh Fisher, who had him wrapped around her little finger, and his best friend and love of his life Mashell (Shelly). He is also survived by a brother, Doug (Mary) Fisher of Topeka, four sisters Judy (Garth) Price of Raymore MO, Mary Glatt of Topeka, Jeanne (Richard) Roberts of Plains, KS, Theresa (Pat) Martin of Topeka and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 5:30 until 7:00 PM Friday evening January 12th at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 312 NE Freeman Avenue, Topeka. The family will be available to friends during this time. A Parish Rosary will be prayed Saturday morning, January 13th at 10:30 AM, followed by the Mass of Chistian Bural at 11:00 AM, both at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where Greg served as an altar-boy during his grade school years. (All denominations are welcome to attend)

The John Hoffer family will provide a dinner for family and friends immediately following the services at John Hoffer Jeep, 3220 SW Topeka Blvd, Topeka, KS.
