Gertrud A Pringle

Gertrud A Pringle, 83, of Topeka, KS died on Nov 27, 2018 at her residence. She was born in Dusseldorf Germany on March 31st1935 to Theo and Anna Speis who have preceded her in death.

She is survived by one sister, Marianne Paulsen of Germany and her three children, Uli, Ulla and Uwe. Daughters Rebecca Pegg of Phoenix, AZ and Pamela (Charles) Harman of Topeka KS; Two granddaughters Vivian(Michael) Mcintire of Manhattan, KS and Jessica Harman of Kansas City, MO. One great-grandson Thane Mcintire ofManhattan KS.

Gertrud (Trudy), lived an adventurous life.  Born and raised in Dusseldorf Germany during WWII, she survived and came to the United States in her early 20's.  She lived in the United States, Mexico City and Germany.  Trudy taught languages for a living at Berlitz school of language. She taught language at Washburn University.  She was fluent in English, German and Spanish.  She enjoyed traveling in the United States, Canada and Europe.  Trudy was active in the German American Club in Topeka and was active in her church, (First Congregational Church of Topeka).

Trudy will be missed by family, friends and many others.
