Georgia Leanora Rohlfs, a loving daughter, sister, and aunt, passed away on June 12, 2023, in Topeka, Kansas.
Born on November 11, 1996, in Marietta, Georgia, she was a courageous, funny, and spirited young woman who brought joy to everyone she knew.
Georgia was the cherished daughter of Spencer Alan Rohlfs and Cynthia Marie Sook, and the adored sister of Melody Nichole Rohlfs, Miriam Elise Cummings, Olivia Edwards, and Lauren Rohlfs. She was a doting aunt to her niece Briana Rohlfs, and nephews Liam Andrew Rohlfs-Richmond. Georgia's family was the center of her world, and she created many beautiful memories with them throughout her life. A proud graduate of Acworth High School, Georgia went on to become a Certified Nursing Aide and a Certified Massage Therapist. She dedicated her career to helping others, working at St. Joseph's Hospital of Atlanta and later at Olivia's Therapeutic Massage in Topeka. Her compassionate nature and healing touch made a lasting impact on the lives of her patients and clients. Georgia's talents and interests were vast and varied. She had a passion for music, playing the piano and singing beautifully. Her exceptional voice led her to pass several auditions in high school, allowing her to sing in the Georgia All-State choirs. Georgia also had a flair for makeup, often using her skills to enhance the beauty of herself and others. An avid miniature golfer, Georgia enjoyed friendly competition with her sister Mimi and brother-in-law Joe. She also found joy in baking, with cake pops being a particular favorite among her creations. Her adventurous spirit led her to try her hand at ax throwing, a hobby she took up after moving to Topeka. Georgia loved spending time outdoors with her sister Olivia, going hiking and working out at the gym together. Her resilience and determination were evident in her personal struggles and challenges, which she openly shared on social media platforms like TikTok. Georgia's encouraging posts inspired others to persevere and never give up, no matter the obstacles they face. As the poet Maya Angelou once said, "I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Georgia's courageous spirit, warm heart, and infectious laughter will always be remembered by those who knew and loved her. Georgia Leanora Rohlfs leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and determination. Her light will continue to shine in the hearts of her family and friends, and her memory will be cherished forever.
Service in Georgia will be held at Summit Baptist Church 4310 Moon Station Rd. Acworth Georgia 30101 on June 24th,2023. Family visitation from 11:30 to 1:00. Service starts at 1:00.
Service in Kansas will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints 2401 Southwest Kingsrow Rd. 66614 on June 27th,2023. Service at 6:00 pm Visitation, sharing and light refreshments 7:00- 9:00.
