George Dewey Hendrix

George Hendrix, 72, Topeka, passed away Wed., Sept. 8, 2021. George Hendrix was born February 24, 1949 in Topeka, KS, the son of Dewey and Genevieve Hendrix. He married Jo Ann Perry on January 29, 1971. Survivors include his wife, Jo Ann Hendrix; daughters, Melissa Hendrix and Diana (Brett) Hicks of Topeka; 3 grandchildren, Kyan and Joel Flores, and Bonnie Hicks; a sister Judy (Thomas) Schmania; two brothers, Larry (Linda) Hendrix, and Joe (Dawn) Hendrix; 21 nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to attend a Celebration of George's life from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Lake Shawnee Shelter House #1, 3400 SE Leisure Lane, Topeka KS 66605.
