Gayle Raymona Tosh Albright

Gayle Raymona Tosh Albright, 75, of Topeka, passed away peacefully at home, on Monday, December 15, 2014.

Gayle was born on March 8, 1939 in Topeka, Ks. She was the 6th child of Ray and Freda Brunton Tosh. On September 30, 1957, she was united in marriage to Charles S. Albright. He passed away June 20, 2004. They are survived by their two daughters, Cheryl Albright of Topeka and Brenda (David) Little of Topeka. Along with Grandsons Jason (Erin) Nolte of Topeka, Lance (Cari) Nolte of Vancouver, WA, Robert (Holly) Reeb of Glendale, AZ, Chance Orton of Alma, Ks and Joey Little of Overland Park, Ks, Granddaughters Ashley (Taggert) Templin of Topeka, Shelby Orton of Alma, Ks, Brianna Orton of Alma, Ks and Emily (Garry) Gharst of Topeka. She had 9 Great Grandchildren, Brooklyn, Quinn, Harper, Jackson, Chase, Porter, Harlow, Piper and Lilly. She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Gayle taught art classes for 9 years – landscapes in oils, tole painting, pallet knife painting, woodcarving, modeling paste and inkings. She taught at the Strawberry Patch Tole Shop and in her home. Herattention to detail, the beauty and serenity she portrayed in her artwork will be a lasting legacy of what her soul felt and theeyes saw as she created each one. She found joy in reading and loved the magic of words, the places the pages transported her to and the things she learned within each book. Her kind, gentle, loving and nurturing ways touched and brightened many lives. She handled the cancer diagnosis and disease with grace, dignity, acceptance and much laughter.Gayle was grateful to all her "angel" caretakers who she believed were put in her path to help her through the journey.

Honoring Gayle's request, no funeral services are planned. A celebration of her beautiful life will be held at a future date. Cremation is being provided by Midwest Cremation Society.
