Gary Moran

Gary Moran, 60, of Topeka, KS, passed away on September 9, 2017, at Midland Hospice House, after a short battle with cancer. He was born November 16, 1956, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Francis and Eileen Moran. Gary graduated from Topeka West High School. He married Melessa Hale on December 13, 2003, at Topeka, Kansas. He enjoyed working on cars, spending time with his family and playing with his beloved dog Yoshi.

Survivors include his wife, Melessa Moran, of the home; three children, Cody Moran and wife Rachel of Lenexa, Kansas, Alissa Peters and husband Dewey of Fort Worth, Texas, and Amanda Koukol and husband Andy of Merriam, Kansas; two stepchildren, Michael Hale of Overland Park, Kansas, and Madeline Hale of the home; and one grandson, Carter Moran of Lenexa, Kansas. He is also survived by his parents, his brothers Colin Moran and wife Lisa, Steve Moran and Kimberly Layden and sister Elaine Boeselager and husband Mark.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Gary on Saturday, September 16th, at Sherwood Lake Club, 6910 SW Fountaindale Road, Topeka, KS, from 4pm to 7pm. Memorials are suggested to Midland Hospice at www.midlandcareconnection.org .
