Francis "Dale" DuPuis, of Topeka, KS, passed away Thursday, March 15th at his home surrounded by his children. Dale was born January 30, 1938 in Horton, Kansas to Frank DuPuis and Emmy (Lynn) DuPuis, both deceased. Dale is the youngest child and was preceded in passing by his siblings: Bernice Ogden, Geraldine Schuetz, Thamar Masquat, Loretta Walker, Lewis "Bo" DuPuis, Vernon DuPuis and Darvin DuPuis. He is survived by his sister Charlene Whitebird of Horton, Kansas. He is also survived by 5 children; Gail Cheatham (Danny) of Topeka, KS, Michael DuPuis of Topeka, KS, Tim DuPuis (Dana) of Statesville, NC, Mark DuPuis of Winchester, CA and Melissa DuPuis of Topeka, KS; nine-grandchildren, and eight-great grandchildren. He was a member of the Kickapoo Tribe in Kansas and attended Horton High School graduating in 1956. After graduation, Dale enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps. After his tour of duty, he returned home and started working at Rockwell International Steel Factory where he retired after 38-years. Dale enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. Later in life, Dale became a dedicated servant of Jehovah's Witness congregation in Topeka, Kansas. Memorial service will be 4:00 p.m, Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses (2701 SE Croco Rd. Topeka).
