Faye Rodecap

July 17, 1948 — February 12, 2016

Faye Rodecap, age 67, died peacefully at home in Carbondale, Ks on February 12, 2016. Faye was born July 17, 1948, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Rose and Leonard LaVern Bagby. Her spirit lives on through her Mother, Husband, 5 Children, 3 Son-in-law, 10 Grandchildren, 4 Brothers, 4 Sisters and extended family.

Faye graduated from Topeka High School and went on to learn a trade in cosmetology. Faye then found her passion for sewing. She had over 45 years of experience as a seamstress sewing for individual people and businesses in the surrounding areas. She also owned her own business as a successfully known seamstress. Her experience and creative talents showed in the products she provided to her family, friends and business clientele.

Faye's passion did not stop at sewing. Her passion for sewing only opened the door for her love of people and the desire to help others. This desire showed in the unconditional love she showed to the people she met. She was loved by all who encountered her. There was no adult, child or furry friend that crossed her path that she did not adopt as her own. She was always ready to lend a helping hand and a shoulder to cry on to anyone that needed her.

When I walk in love God is present1 John 4:12.

Faye was the greatest daughter, wife, mother, grandma and friend of all time. She was a strong and beautiful person inside and out. She always loved unconditionally. She showed this love through her soft touches, warm hugs, soft smile and her soft childlike voice. She taught all of us to see the good in the bad. She was a very strong person and when someone felt weak or scared, she always guided them to seek the love of the Lord. She taught her children, both biological and adopted to know that God was their strength, savior, serenity, protector and eternal father. She taught all of us, that life was what we choose it to be.

May God, the source of hope, fill me with all joy and peace by means of my faith in him, so that my hope will continue to grow by the power of the Holy Spirit Romans 15:13 (GNT).

We all lost a best friend, but gained another guardian angel. We will miss her unconditional love, laughter and smile. We will miss garage selling with her, getting Chinese food and many other things. We knew we were in for a good laugh and a good time when she was by our side.

Just remember that we love you more (GOTCHA). You're in a better place now and free of pain. "Rest Easy and Fly High!" We will all love and miss you. You may be gone but will never be forgotten. You will be missed by all who knew you.

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life John 3:16 (NIV).
