Erik Ernest Hoppe

Erik Ernest (Ernie) Hoppe 84, passed away May 27,2018 at his home with family around him. He was predeceased by his parents, Oscar and Anna Hoppe, sister Helen Johnstone and brother Lou Hoppe. Survivors include his wife, Jane , two sons Darryl (Helen) and family, Darwin and his family,sisters Betty Spiker of Topeka and Mildred Hines of Emory Tx. Nieces, nephews and many friends. As per Ernie's wishes, cremation had taken place. Celebration of life will take place at a later date. Erine had a talent for rebuilding engines and restoring old cars that started when he was young. He loved old Model A fordsand owned several old cars. He had hands on alot of different kinds of cars. willing to help anyone get going. He worked at MidAm Dairy from 18 till retirement. He spent much time with his sons helping them in their automotive careers.
