Ellis Tucker

Ellis Tucker, 88, passed away at Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas on Friday, April 12, 2024, following complications from an auto accident.

He was born May 26, 1935, son of Floyd and Freda (Morris) Tucker.

Ellis was married to Linda (Whitten) Tucker on July 2, 1960. (64 years)

Survivors include his wife Linda, a daughter Michelle Castle (Lonnie Barnes), daughter in- law Debra Tucker (Gary), all of Auburn, Ks.  Grandkids Tyler Castle, Alison Castle, of Victoria, Tx, Alan Tucker, Topeka, Ks, Jessie Tucker (Jordan), (Addison), (Hadleigh), of Auburn, Ks., a sister, Sue Kathe, (Mike), of Arizona also survive.

He was preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Freda, two brothers Melvin, and Larry, and a son Ron Tucker.

Ellis served in the US Army, was employed by Goodyear Tire and Rubber and part-time farming until retirement.

Cremation has taken place, honoring his request. Graveside services will be held at a later date at the Auburn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Auburn Community Center.
