Elizabeth (Betty) Tidquist Mullet

Elizabeth (Betty) Tidquist Mullet passed away November 12, 2024, at Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, KS. She was born October 11, 1936, to Thure & Flossie (Mitchell) Tidquist of Cleburne, Kansas. Betty, as she was always called, graduated from CRHS in May 1954. She went on to be employed at Farm Bureau Insurance, retiring in 1995. She was then employed by Citizens State Bank, Manhattan, Kansas. Finally, she ended her career with Farm Bureau in 2006.

She married the love of her life, Ralph Mullet, on August 5, 1956, in Cleburne. They went on to have three children.

Betty was a member of First Lutheran Church and Eagles Auxiliary 2468

She is survived by her daughter Nancy Wilson (Sam), Grandchildren Jay, Jayme (Randy), and Jennifer (Casey), 15 great grandchildren, 1 great-great Grandchild, companion Fred Holt, sister-in-law Laura and her ever present dog, Syd as well as many friends also mourn her passing. She also leaves her daughter Lisa Curtright and family.

Proceeding her in death are her husband Ralph, her son David Jay, her parents Thure and Flossie as well as her brother Donald.

Private graveside services at Kansas Veterans Cemetery, where she will be laid to rest with her husband, will take place at a later date. Midwest Cremation of Topeka will be handling arrangements.
