Duane Michael Walsh

Duane Michael Walsh, 68, of Lawrence, KS, unexpectedly passed-away December 20, 2015. Born September 16, 1947, Topeka, KS the son of Joseph Michael Walsh and Rosalie Navarre Henderson-Colgrove.

Lived his youth in Topeka. Attended Topeka High and Washburn Univ. Was a Vietnam Vet serving in the U.S. Army '66-'69. Retired from U.S. Postal Serv., after 26 yrs. that moved him to Jackson, MS, New Orleans, LA, Terre Haute, IN, and Madison, WI. Loved reading, music, travel, his kitties and many friends. He never missed a party and always came in-style.

Duane leaves behind Diana Rickson married 1967, Vickie Williams married 1976 and Janet Gilboe married 1988, Carolyn King-Bogart-DeLeo and son Ethan; two half-sisters Teresa Colgrove and Darla Sears. He will be missed by Pam and Heather Colhouer, and his closest friend Doug Salsbury with children Nathan and Chelsea.

A celebration of life as he wished will be held at a later date.
