Dresden Driver passed away on September 2, 2025, at the age of sixty-five after a prolonged illness. He was surrounded by his family.
Dresden was born May 5,1960, and was a lifelong resident of Topeka, KS. Growing up, he played baseball in the Lake Shawnee League, with his Dad helping as a coach. After graduation in 1978 from Topeka West High School, he joined the Army and was a Paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division. He worked in the construction trade for many years. Later in life he was an over the road truck driver and loved seeing the country.
His loved the outdoors. He was an avid hunter, especially bow hunting and enjoyed the game of golf. He played golf often with his Dad and he enjoyed riding his Harley. He loved his dog, Prince.
Dresden was preceded in death by his parents Donald and Dorothy Driver. He is survived by his loving wife Elizabeth of 38 years, and his sister Deetra Driver Pritchett (Tad). He is also survived by his children Jessica Dennon, Donny Driver (Heather), Sheila Driver, stepsons Ronnie and Travis Law, three grandchildren and two step grandchildren.
