Donna Joann Dixon Williams

Donna Joann Dixon Williams, 82 of Lawrence, died April 13, 2018 at Brandon Woods Care Home. She was born in Garnett KS on June 19, 1935, the daughter of Lloyd Jerome and Charlotte Potts Dixon. Joann was married to her high school love, Billy Max Williams on June 3, 1955 in Lawrence KS. Before his death on December 12, 1989 they lived and farmed in the Holton Community. Joann was also preceded in death by her grandson, Jacob Lloyd Sterrett, her parents, Lloyd and Charlotte Dixon and her brother, Lloyd Joyce Dixon.

Survivors include her sister, Jean E. Dixon, Lawrence, her children David Williams (Susan), Lyndon, Beth Stadel (Rod), Hoyt, and Sarah Sterrett (Tom), Paxico. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, Grace Stadel, Ruth Riffey, Dana Barngrover, Aimee Stadel, Andy Sterrett, and Melissa Anderson and 5 great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Jacob, Waylon, Owen and Harlee.

Graveside services are scheduled for Friday, April 27, 2018 at 1:00 PM at Memorial Park Cemetery, 1517 E 15th Street, Lawrence, Kansas.
