Donald Edward Christ

Donald Edward Christ, 66, of Salina, KS, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the Good Shepherd Hospice House in Manhattan, Kansas after his valiant battle against cancer.

He was born on May 12, 1951, in Washington D.C. and married Michelle Lehrfeld in 1970. They later divorced.

Don is survived by his father, Harold Christ, four sisters, Susan McIntyre, Betsy Smith, Sheree Walsh, and Margaret Marshall, a brother, John Christ, two sons, Adam Gibson and Jason Christ, and four grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Rose (Joy) Christ, and his brother, David William Christ.

Don was a self-employed carpenter by trade, a musician and gardener. He was a kind person who would go out of his way to help others, giving anything he had, although he had so little. He is greatly loved and will be sorely missed.
