Derek Jordan Robb

Derek J. Robb left this earth on Sunday, August 28th, following a brief illness. He was born March 30, 1993, in Manhattan, Kansas. He is the son of Dana Robb and Christopher Williams. Derek spent his childhood in Kansas, attending schools in Manhattan and Royal Valley High School in Hoyt. As a young adult he lived in Colorado, only recently returning to Kansas. While in school, Derek was a great football player and a champion wrestler. He loved to go target shooting with friends, fishing with his cousin Joey and played xbox with a special group of friends for over a decade. Derek is survived by his mother and father, grandparents Eric and Diane Robb, grandmother Frances Jones of Manhattan, three brothers, Daeshawn Bryant (Breonna), Devin Bryant, Domonic Robb all of Topeka and six sisters, Aubriana Williams, Brittany McCord, Shadaira Wiliams, Daysia Williams, Nakira Williams, Aijhana Williams, several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. He had a special place in his heart for his Aunt Debbie Rogers, Aunt Lisa Robb, Uncle Nate, Brit Brat and Chelsey. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday September 2nd at 2:00 pm at Rose Wood, 3216 SW 29th Street, Topeka, KS. A private graveside service will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery in Ogden, Kansas. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial donation be made in Derek's memory to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, KS 66604.
