Dean William Wilson

Dean William Wilson, 62, of Topeka, KS passed away Thursday, January 26, 2017 at Aldersgate Village, Topeka.

Dean was born on November 17, 1954, in Fort Madison, Iowa, the son of Leland and Patricia (Davidson) Wilson. He graduated from Turner High School, Kansas City, KS; Kansas City Community College with an A.D. and attended Kansas State University in Manhattan. He worked as a programmer with Blue Cross/Blue Shield for 29 years until his retirement.

Dean was preceded in death by brother, Herbert, and his father, Leland.

Survivors include his mother and step-father, Patricia and Paul Smith, of Kansas City, KS; brothers Dennis and Jeanne Wilson of Idabel, OK, and DeWayne Wilson of Kansas City, KS; sisters Linda Medina of Grand Rapids, MI, Lisa Domeier and husband, Kevin of Byron Center, MI; Denise Smith and husband Kenny of Windsor, MO; Stacey Lawson and husband Eric of Plainwell, MI and Michelle Coffey of Burton, MI, and numerous nephews and nieces.

A private memorial service will be held in Iowa at a later date.
