Dawn R. Clayton

Dawn R. Clayton, 72, passed away November 25, 2018 at Stormont Vail Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.

Dawn was born September, 17, 1946 in Kansas City, Missouri to Dorothy Myrick and Jack Bannister. She graduated from Topeka Highschool. She worked at Blue Cross and Blue Shield in the mailroom department for 20+ years and retired in 2007. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was always caring and thinking of others before herself.

She is survived by Lois Bannister the wife of the late Jack Bannister her brother Charles Bannister and sister Lesli Eller. She is survived by three children, daughter Jennifer and her spouse Jason Baker, son William Henderson Clayton and wife Linda Clevenger, son Daniel and his spouse Barbara Evans. Dawn is also survived by five grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

She will be deeply missed by all who were blessed to meet her. A celebration of life will be held December 7, 2018 at 4:30 pm at the First Apartments, 3805 SW 18th St, Topeka, KS 66604.
