David Scott Billings

David Billings passed away at the age of 62. We are all thankful for the time God gave us with him.

David loved and enjoyed very much spending time with his kids and grandkids. The smile of his daughter was his purpose and his son brought him pride and joy. He was his son's first hero, and his daughter's first love. And his grandchildren filled a space in his heart that he never knew was missing. David loved them dearly.

David throughout his life enjoyed most things outdoors. Cars, sports, fishing. He had hoped to live out his days doing just that; but unfortunately his time was cut short. David loved classic rock music

He really loved Rush.

David gave his life to God in 2019. We rejoice knowing we will be reunited with him again one day.

Who was David Billings?

He was a child of God

He was a father

He was a grandpa

He was a brother

He was a uncle

He was a dear friend to many

He was a humble man who never thought of himself as being greater than anyone. He never liked the limelight but yet he influenced many. He was an ordinary man with an extraordinary abilities.

David was a generous spirit who gave selflessly to his family and friends without expecting anything in return.

David wasn't a man of many words but when he spoke we all listened. A msg of action and sometimes spoken words wouldn't be necessary. He has integrity and was respectful towards his elders, family, and friends. His word was his bond and he wasn't deceitful.

David was funny. Sometimes his humor came at the most inappropriate times, but he had a way to make you see that life shouldn't be taken so seriously.

David you will be greatly missed! But forever loved in everyone's hearts.

David is survived by his daughter Alexandria "Allie" & Mark Bortzer, his granddaughter Sophia Bortzer and grandson Blake Bortzer, And his son David "Scott" & Kelsi Billings and grandchildren Draivun & Rayna. Brothers Tom Billings and Bob ( Beverly) Billings. Sister Jennifer Devin.
