Darrel Dean Senne passed away 08/28/2018. He was born 01/11/1957 in Topeka, Kansas and lived there for much of his life. He worked as a drywall finisher for many years before his retirement and spent much of his free time hunting, fishing, collecting, and spending time with his many friends.
He is survived by his son, Aaron Dean Senne of Topeka, KS, his brother David Alan Senne and his wife Gail Senne of Meriden, KS. He was also an uncle to three surviving nieces and nephews, Wendy Artzer-Powell, Chris Artzer, and Jacob Artzer. He is preceded in death by his parents Dixie Lee Senne (who passed earlier this year) and Delbert Lee Senne (who passed in 1994), and his sister Debra Artzer (who passed in 2014).
Dean (as he went by) was not one to think too much about what comes after death. He lived his life fully and wouldn't want an elaborate production after his death. To honor his life, his family has decided to forego a typical memorial service, but will have a gathering for any of those who wish to say goodbye.
Please join family and friends for a celebration of life at Lake Shawnee Shelter House #6 (3521 SE East Ridge Rd), Friday, September 7th, 2018 anytime from 6:30PM to 9:30PM. Some food and beverages will be provided, as well as a chance to talk with family and friends about his life. Dean will be missed, but never forgotten.
