Dale Paul Umscheid

Dale Paul Umscheid, 63, of Tecumseh, KS passed Tuesday, June 14, 2022, at the House at Midland Care with loved ones by his side. He was born May 5, 1959, in Topeka the son of Carrol Paul and Margaret Mary (Helget) Umscheid. Dale began working at a young age, his first job was at K-mart, then he went to work for Standard Heart Printing. The greater portion of his career was working in the parts department for several local car dealerships which included, Kent Brown Chevrolet, Ed Bozarth Chevrolet, Crown Chevy and most recently at Laird Noller Ford. Survivors include a sister, Rose Cody, a brother, Brian Umscheid and his lifelong friend, Kevin Wadsworth. Two nephews, Chad Cody and Elijah Umscheid also survive. He was preceded in death by his parents, Carrol and Margaret Umschied. Per Dale's wishes cremation has taken place with his final resting place to be in the columbarium at Grace Episcopal Cathedral. He had a great love for animals, so in lieu of flowers, the family would like to suggest donations in his memory to be made to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st Street, Topeka, KS 66604.
