Constance (Connie) L. Jimenez

Constance (Connie) L. Jimenez passed away Friday, March 29th, 2024 at home with loved ones. She will be missed.

Born February 5th, 1945 to Roy and Pauline Large. Raised in the Oakland, Garden Park area. She grew with her siblings until she met her love, Tommy Jimenez, They married June 23rd, 1962. 50+ year North Topeka residents. Together they had 3 children, LaShell, Eloise, and Thomas III.

Connie lived for her family. She cared for us, disciplined us and Loved us like no other.

Connie worked at Brewster Place for many years as supervisor of housekeeping, In the early 80s their first Grandchild, Tabitha was born, Connie and Tommy would raise her as their own.

She was full of life, loved her cat Peppy, ice milk and chocolate ice-cream, she enjoyed being outside working in the yard, and the occasional red beer. Family and Friends kept her in good spirits most of the time.

Though Connie's health was failing for awhile now, few knew the extent to which she struggled. Her strong spirit and love for her family kept her pushing...

On that Friday, March 29th when Connie departed onto her next Journey, Our world came crashing. Connie, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Great Great Grandmother, and friend will truly be loved and missed for the rest of the days of our lives.
