Constance (Connie) S. Christenson Topeka, passed away April 6, 2015 at Midland Hospice. She was born January 19, 1961 in Axel, KS to parents Galen and Marceil Fouraker.

She is survived by her high school sweetheart and husband of 35 years, Melvin Christenson, their three sons, Dustin Christenson of Tulsa, OK; Tommy Christenson of Topeka and still at home Ian Christenson, a loving daughter Lacey Christenson (Ted Tegge) of Topeka , a sister Denise Cook of Shawnee, NE and brother Paul of Topeka, several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, Marceil Fouraker (Rethman) (1998) and Galen Fouraker (2012), and a brother-in-law Steve Cook (2011).

Connie attended Hayden High school where she was a cheerleader and met the love of her life. She graduated from Hayden High School in 1979 and married Melvin. Connie worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield for 10 years. Connie was known for loving two things in this life. The first and most important were her children. They were her world and her life and everything she did revolved around them. She loved children and they loved her. The second thing that Connie had a passion for was sharing the love of Jesus. She lived her life sharing her love by visiting and helping the elderly in the neighborhood. She was fearless in sharing the gospel and attended many different churches in the Topeka area. She will be missed by all leaving many broken hearts to mourn her.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 25th at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, 234 SW Van Buren, Topeka, Kansas. There will be a dinner for family and friends at the church following the service. There will be an opportunity to speak. Her family invites you to share a good story or memory of Connie. The family would like to thank all those who have offered their help and comfort in this difficult time.
