Connie Jean Vargas

Connie Jean Vargas, 61, of Topeka, formerly of North Platte, Nebraska went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 27, 2017. She was born December 2, 1955, in North Platte, Nebraska the daughter of Manuel and Delphia (Bowen) Vargas.

Connie was a high school graduate and worked for the Kansas Turnpike Authority as a Toll Booth Clerk. She was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church, of Topeka.

Connie dedicated her life to loving and caring for all her family and friends. She always put others first, never complaining even at the end of her battle with cancer. Connie lived her life as a true reflection of God's unconditional love for everyone. Anyone who met Connie loved Connie.

Connie loved spending time with her 4 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew, going to Church, Chiefs Football, Bird watching, Chillin at the lake, and making trips to Sonic with Tracy in their pajamas for a soda.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00am, Saturday, April 8, 2017 at New Hope United Methodist Church, 2915 SW 8th Ave. Topeka, KS. 66606.
