Claudia Marie Devine

Claudia Marie Devine, Boots. 1-20-1959 Born in Independence Missouri. Daughter of Claude and Zula Boots – Arnold.  Married Gerald (Jerry) Devine in 1982. Resided in Hutchinson, Kansas with her family for thirty years. Her family was blessed to have her move to Topeka, Kansas in 2019, where she helped with her family business, Jerry's Auto Repair llc.

Claudia transitioned to heaven July 1, 2021 in Topeka, Kansas. (University of Kansas; St. Francis) She is survived by her husband Jerry Devine, and Children Nichole Devine, Jeremiah and Amanda Devine, and Grandchildren Elsa, Christopher, Presley, Paisley and Pierce. Claudia was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She provided for her family by her excellent housekeeping. She worked as an in-home daycare provider for over twenty years.

She attended Topeka Bible Church with her family. She loved crafts, decorating, animals, shopping, and cheering on her family. She loved to see people smile and laugh. Claudia loved joking with her friends and family. She was extremely funny, but didn't know it.

Claudia trusted in Christ as her Saviour. She served several roles with different ministries. Claudia and Jerry planted Emmanuel Baptist Church in their Hutchinson home. She served as a co-director of Children's church, Young Adults ministry, and helped in the church office. Claudia's final act of love was her gift of life through organ donation.

She is loved and will be missed by her family and friends. They find great hope and peace in knowing Claudia has reached her final home, Heaven.
