Christopher Lee Evans, 38, of Topeka, KS died at Stormont Vail Hospital on May 9, 2024.
He was born December 21, 1985, in Topeka, Kansas, the son of Sonya Renae Christopher and Richard Lee Evans.
Christopher grew up in Topeka all his life and attended Topeka Public Schools and obtained his GED from the state of Kansas. He worked various jobs including construction and jobs that were outdoors with the latest being for Capital Insulation, Inc. in Topeka.
Survivors include two sons, Christopher Jr. and Chase, and a daughter Ava, his sisters Lisa Fienhage and Misty Burgess, a brother Michael Evans, his mother Sonya, grandfather Tommy North, grandmother, Betty Brown, along with a large extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by a son Caden, his father Richard Evans, grandmother Juanita North, his paternal great grandparents, and a maternal grandfather.
Heroes come in all shapes and sizes and Christopher saved lives by being an organ donor. He provided hope and life to four people by donating his heart, kidneys, and liver.
A celebration of Christopher's life will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024, at Garfield Park in Topeka, Kansas at 3:00 pm, 1600 NE Quincy, outside at the gazebo.
