Christina Ameia Louise Derocher

Christina Ameia Louise DeRocher, a resident of Topeka, KS earned her wings on March 31, 2018, at the age of 40 while in hospice care.

Christina is survived by her mother, Earla Jean Ann Farmer; her husband, Louis DeRocher; and her children, Nathaniel Payne and Lyra DeRocher. She is predeceased by her grandparents; her father, Herman Simpson; and her brother, David Simpson.

Christina was born on January 25, 1978 to Herman Simpson and Earla Jean Ann Sowers. Christina attended The University of Kansas, and worked for the Topeka Department of Revenue.

Christina devoted her life to her children, family and friends. She enjoyed music, playing the flute and singing in her local school and church choir. Christina especially enjoyed her dogs; Angel, Rose Tyler and River Song; and her cat, Romeo. She enjoyed gathering with friends; in person or online. She was well loved in by her church family, and will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

A funeral service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. on April 21st at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Topeka Ks. Bishop Ralph Hoyos will officiate.
