Christie Cheri Jacobs

September 13, 1967 — July 14, 2025

A loving wife, a mother true and kind,

A guiding light, a spirit well-defined.

As a devoted wife, your love shone bright,

A cherished partner, bringing endless light.

As a mother, your wisdom gently steered,

Nurturing dreams, conquering every fear.

With endless patience and a tender grace,

You filled our lives, leaving no empty space.

As a grandmother, your heart, a joyful spring,

Sharing stories and laughter, a melody you'd sing.

Each hug, a comfort, each smile, a precious gift,

In your embrace, our spirits would lift.

Now, the time has come for rest,

Love remains in hearts, eternally blessed.

The spirit will be carried, a beacon ever bright,

Through cherished memories, and the warmth of light.

Christie was a gifted artist, a phenomenal cook, and an insightful writer. She had an amazing ability to effectively navigate the intricacies of both the insurance world and the medical world. But her greatest gift was a sense of humor that kept people around her in smiles, often even in challenging situations. She was adept at keeping a positive attitude and surrounded herself with positive sayings.

She was an avid dog and horse lover, but her greatest love was family. Her husband, son, daughter-in-law, and grandsons were the central focus of her life.

She is survived by her husband Craig Jacobs of Tecumseh, KS, her son Robert (& Daisy) & grandsons Dean and Spartan Johnston of Topeka, KS, her mother Marylie (& Dewey) Brubaker of Topeka, KS, her father Thomas Foust of Wichita, KS, and numerous relatives.
