Christen Locke

Christen (Chris) Locke, 26, Topeka passed away Tuesday July 5th 2016, due to a firework injury. He was a very Energetic, Passionate, and Living Life to the Fullest individual. Christen was always willing to help anyone that was in need, and he gave everything he had to helping and being compassionate to anyone that was in need. Christen was born November 29, 1989 in Topeka, the son of Alfonzo and Sheila Locke Jr. He graduated from Topeka High School in 2007. He attended Washburn University and graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Social Work in 2014. He was previously employed at Positive Connections and Legacy Nursing Home and was to start a new part of his career at KVC on July 11th. Survivors include Grandmother Norma Turley, Sister Leana (Mookie) Locke and Jessica Hall (Kansas City), and Loving Aunts, Uncles and Cousins that were very dear to his heart. He will be greatly missed by everyone. Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am Saturday July 9, 2016 at Light of the World Christian Center at 33rd and Gage.
