Cheyanne Watson

Cheyanne Nichole Watson lost her battle to stage 4 metastasized cervical cancer on March 18, 2018 at her home with the love of her life and her mother by her side. Cheyanne was born July 31, 1987 to Stacy Welsh and Jamie Adams. She was a vibrant, intelligent and beautiful little girl and grew up to be an amazing woman. Cheyanne graduated from Northern Heights High School in 2005. Some people knew Cheyanne from her years of waiting tables, when she was the manager at Family Video, or when she worked at Aaron's. Her most recent job was with Birch and she loved her job and her Birch family very much. Cheyanne was an avid Royals and Broncos fan (Peyton Manning years) and she loved spending time with her friends and family. However; what Cheyanne loved the most was being a mother. Cheyanne is survived by her life partner Todd Wilson, her daughter Chessa, and Todd and Trisha's (one of her besties and her ex-wife in law) children Taygen, and Taylor. She is survived by her mother Stacy Welsh and her mom's Heather Adams, Katie Adams and Connie Prock. Her father, Jamie Adams and her dads, Greg Gomez and John Welsh. Cheyanne is also survived by her brothers Laramie Watson (April), Ross Welsh, Ralston Wilkerson (Kaylon), Christopher and Shawn Gomez, and Jonathan Welsh as well as her sisters, Macey Adams, Delaney Adams, Samantha Silva (Raul) and Allie Steele. Her grandparents, Donna Adams and Lupe Gomez. And Todd's family- Van and Pat Wilson and Julie. Cheyanne is also survived and loved by lots and lots of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Cheyanne was preceded in death by her grandparents Ross and Leah Crawford, Jim Adams and Joe Gomez Sr. Cremation has taken place. There will be a service and a celebration of Cheyanne's life held at the Brickyard, 402 Merchant Street Emporia, Kansas on March 31, 2018 at 2:00 pm. This was the place that our community pulled together to help our girl in her fight so we found it fitting that this is the place for her fight to end.
