Charles William "Bill" Traylor, age 72, died February 26 at Midland Hospice in Topeka, Kansas. Charles was born on December 21, 1942 in Camp Atterbury, Indiana to James Brown Traylor and Lida Agnes Miller Traylor, who proceeded him in death. Charles has two children, one daughter Shawn Traylor Muro and husband Rick of California , and one son, Trenton Traylor and wife April of Arizona. Charles has two grandchildren, Brittany Welch and Khloe Traylor. He was married to Judith M. James Cole May 28, 1997. Charles was a long time resident of Topeka, Kansas. Charles was employed by Hagman Wholesale, Whelans Lumber Company, as well as Carpet One of Topeka. Charles was a member in good standing of the Golden Rule Lodge #90 in Topeka, Kansas. Charles loved his cars and boats and his dog Buster. He especially loved his 62 Chris Craft all wood cabin cruiser which he docked at Perry Lake and enjoyed many weekends on that boat.
Charles is survived by his wife Judith. Charles is also survived by his oldest brother Jim E Traylor and his wife Carol of Topeka and their children, Cheryl, James, and Brett; and his youngest brother Donald L. Traylor and his wife Linda of Topeka and their children, Brian, Tiffany, and Gwendolyn.
Graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions can be made to Midland Hospice of Topeka, Kansas.
