Charles N. Forster

Charles N. Forster (Toke), 85, of Holton, passed away Wednesday, May 21, 2014. He was born June 16, 1928 in rural Jackson County, KS, the son of Robert Louis and Mary Belle (Miller) Forster.

Charles worked at Goodyear for many years before retiring in 1988. He very much enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, hunting and gardening. He was married to Anna Lea Roediger, they later divorced. He married Edna Fitzsimmons in 1959.

Charles is survived by his wife, Edna, Holton; sons, Charles, Portland, OR, and Terry, Whiting; daughter Kathy Kyser, Topeka; brother, Joseph Forster, Atchison; 6 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild. He was preceded in death by son, Jay; daughter Toka (Sally); and brothers Robert and Louis.
