Charles Heeb Del Biaggio was born on May 23rd, 1947, in San Francisco, California to Amil (Del) and Thelma Del Biaggio. He passed away peacefully at home on September 13, 2024, surrounded by his loved ones.

Charlie was born into a multi-generational highly decorated military family that included his grandfather and father. The family moved around to many different countries while his father was in the Army. Once his father was retired, they settled in Fairfield, California where Charlie attended local schools and graduated from Armijo High School in 1966.

On May 15,1968 Charlie enlisted in the Army and was stationed at Swedesboro, New Jersey. He was assigned to Battery B, 43rd ARTY missile base. While he was there, he met Judith Anne Reed, they were married from 1969 to 1978.

Upon being honorably discharged from the Army on August 22nd, 1972, he went to the Police Academy and was hired by the Richmond, California police force. He worked in many areas throughout the years including Beat officer, Detective Homicide, Polygraph operator, and then retired in 1985. After which he opened up his own business as a private investigator.

Charlie was married to his wife, Catherine Boykin on December 9th,1979 in Pinole California. In 1993 they moved to Topeka, Kansas and enjoyed many happy years with their 4 children. Clay Sr (Chrystal), Nathan (Kerrie), Kevin (Nikki), and Jalisa (Jeremy). He also adored his 8 grandchildren, Hailea, Ethan, Kallee, Hannah, Julia, Kaylynn, Hayden, and Clay Jr.

Charlie and Cathy enjoyed spending their free time going on the hunt to auctions and on adventures to collect Coca Cola memorabilia. If you knew him, you knew he loved his Coke and always had one nearby. He was our "Colaman".

Charlie loved life and lived it with a kind, giving, and open heart. He gave of himself to all of his family and friends and liked doing things for them and others. He was his family's biggest supporter and helped his kids, grandkids, nieces, nephews, and everyone around him throughout the years. He was a cheerful person with a wonderful sense of humor.

He was one of a kind, and truly was our rock. We will all miss him forever.

Charlie was cremated and a Celebration of his life will be announced at a later date.
