Carol Woellhof

February 11, 1957 — January 31, 2019

Carol Woellhof passed away on January 31, 2019 after an eight month battle with cancer.  She is survived by her husband, Darrrel Woellhof, of the home and one step-grandson, Cameron, both of whom she loved with all her heart. She also has an adopted brother, Rick, of Tennessee.  Carol is preceded in death by her parents and step-daughter, Nicole.

Carol was born in Sacramento, California on February 11, 1957 to the parents of Howard Solberg and Bette Mae Balwin.  She spent her childhood in Sacramento until she became of age and then moved to Fairbanks, Alaska where she lived for two years.  She returned to Sacramento until 1977 when she made the trip to Manhattan, Kansas.  Carol began working at The McCall Pattern Company on March 2, 1978 until present.

Carol was a fun loving girl, full of life, and loved by all who knew her.  She loved to travel and see the world, but was also a homebody who loved to decorate her home and keep everything nice.  Carol loved backyard bar-b-ques, and playing corn hole (bags) with friends and family where everyone enjoyed her excellent cooking.  She was a wonderful, beautiful woman who will be missed by all who knew her.

Carol met the love of her life, Darrel, in 2001.  They had 18 wonderful loving years together.  They were married 4 years ago the in back yard of their home where they had shared so much joy with family and friends.
