We are sad to announce the passing of Carol Ann Beaver, age 71, born September 14,1952 the daughter of Marion and Betty Gruber.
Carol was a graduate of Seamon High School. After high school she met and married William W. Beaver and although they later divorced, they kept in contact with each other and remained united for their children. Carol was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a cancer survivor of twenty years; she enjoyed participating in the cancer relay for life walk every year, except for this year as she was unable too due so do to knee surgery. Carol enjoyed gardening, cooking, and spending time with her children as well as her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Carol spent her life taking care of others, she worked as a CNA and CMA at several of the local nursing homes, including Topeka Presbyterian Manor. Samaritan Nursing home, Manor Care of Topeka and McCrites. She also worked as a home health aide and provided private care for individuals. For several years Carol cooked at the Blintze Burch at the Temple Beth Sholom in Topeka.
Carol was a hard worker with a kindhearted spirit who will be sadly missed by family and friends but the legacy of her hard work and efforts will remain. Carol is survived by her Children; Willard Beaver, Jennifer Beaver, and Michael L. Beaver all of Topeka Kansas; along with her siblings Linda F. Royal of South Dakota, Steven M. Gruber 1 of Tecumseh Kansas, Christine M. Brady of Overbrook Kansas, Debra Vining of Topeka Kansas, and Mary Grooms Gruber of Silver Lake Kansas. 10 Grand Children, 5 Great Children and a host of Nephew and Niece's.
She was preceded in death by her Parents; Marion James Gruber Sr. and Betty Lou Gruber, her Ex Husband-William Beaver, Brother Marion James Gruber Jr and two Sisters - Pam and Patricia, as well as the love of her life for the pass thirty years Henry Profitt who lost his life alongside her.
The world changes from year to year, our lives from day to day, but the love and memory of Carol shall never pass away.
