Brent Baker

Brent Meredith Baker, of Berryton, Kansas, passed away on March 20, 2026, at the age of 47. He was born on November 22, 1978, in Wellington, Kansas.

Brent dedicated 22 years of service as an Armed Response Officer at Wolf Creek Nuclear Operating Corporation. He was known for his strong work ethic and commitment to his role.

Outside of work, Brent had a passion for racing cars at the drag strip, spending time at the dirt track, and country cruising. He especially enjoyed relaxing around a bonfire, sharing laughs and a beer with friends—moments that those closest to him will always cherish.

He is survived by his parents, Jerry Baker and Marla Jones-Baker; his sister, Misty Baker-Rochford(Jim), his nephews, Ryan and Ethan; his two children, Cara Baker and Meredith Baker; and his beloved granddaughter, Raelynn.

A celebration of Brent’s life will be held on May 2, 2026, for close friends and family.
