Born on September 27, 1977, in Topeka, Kansas, Brandy's journey through life was marked by her unyielding kindness and an unwavering dedication to her loved ones.

Brandy was a proud graduate of Santa Fe Trail High School and furthered her education at Topeka Technical College. Her career as a phlebotomist was more than just a profession; it was an extension of her innate desire to help others. Brandy's home was a haven of warmth and safety, a testament to her nurturing spirit.

Her interests were as diverse as they were passionate. Brandy's love for softball was only matched by her appreciation for art in all its forms. Whether on the field or with a paintbrush in hand, her creativity shone through, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with her devoted husband, Troy Lane, and their beloved children, Spencer Lane and adopted children, Danny and Lizzie. Brandy's role as a mother was the cornerstone of her life, and her love and guidance will continue to light the way for her daughter-in-law, Kortni Lane. Her sister, Corinna Essman, will forever hold dear the bond they shared, filled with friendship and mutual respect.
