Billy E. Ott aged 86, passed away on August 20, 2025. He was born in Sabetha, Kansas on October 28, 1938.

He is survived by Betty, his wife of 62 years. His sons Bradley and Brent preceded him in death. Daughter Rebecca Foth. Grandsons Justin (Taylor) Ryder and Brayden. Brandon (Ashley) Vivienne, Sutton, Ronnie & Parker.

He graduated from Fairview High School in 1957. He went on to work for the Kansas Power and Light Company. He retired after 43 years with them.

He was a member of the Kansas National Guard.

He was an avid golfer, and enjoyed playing on many different golf courses around the country. His favorite golfing was done on the courses in Arizona, during the winter months. He enjoyed watching KU basketball and Chiefs football.

He always loved giving a helping hand to anyone in need. He would be the first to say 'let me help you with that'. He also loved being the first to play a prank on his fellow co-workers. Billy spent thousands of hours volunteering at various agencies in the Topeka area.

He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

Mass of Christian burial will be at 10am on Saturday, September 6, 2025, at Christ the King Catholic Church.
