Betty L. Pridey

Betty L. Pridey, 79, Topeka – Kansas, died on Thursday, July 21, 2016, following injuries sustained from a stroke she had on June 24, 2016.

Betty was born on Feb. 9, 1937, in Burr Oak - Kansas, and lived the majority of her life in the Topeka, Kansas area.

Betty worked as a healthcare worker for various healthcare facilities throughout her life and held a CNA license for the majority of those working years. Betty was a very kind, caring, and loving person, and always strove to help those in-needof help.

She is survived by her husband, Frank H. Pridey, Jr.; children, Randal Pridey, Sandra Bowen (Jim Bowen), Rebecca Ivy; sisters, Louise Pearce, Ruth Reed; 14 grandchildren – 6 great-grandchildren and numerous nephews & nieces.

She is preceded in death by her son, Frank H. Pridey, III, and her sister Shirley Alt.

A memorial service will be held in mid to late August, 2016, at the Topeka Bible Church in Topeka, Kansas.

Burial will be in the Penwell-Gabel Cemetary and Mausoleum.
