Betty Lou Kness

Betty Lou Kness of Osage City Ks. went home to Our Lord on Friday, August 26th, 2016. She was born on August 18, 1940 . She was raised by Gilbert and Clara Crocker of Lyndon, KS. Her siblings include Leroy Crocker (deceased) , Rose Marie Truelove, and Connie Sapp. She is survived by her husband , Charles L. Kness of Osage City, Ks., and have been married for 56 years. Together they raise 4 children, Gilbert Charles Kness of Osage City, Ks., Timothy James Kness , married to Claudette Sue Evans of Olathe, Ks., Robin Lavonne Kness of Burlington, Ks., and Todd Allen Kness of Osage City, Ks.

Betty has 4 grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and is also blessed with many nieces, and nephews.

Betty was best known for her life time work as a CNA in the healthcare field, her private daycare business, and her authentic concern for others.

A Celebration of Life is being held by her children on Saturday, September 3rd, 2016 at the Presbyterian Church 202 S. 6th Street in Osage City, KS. at 11:00AM . Reception to follow.

The family has set up a memorial fund in her honor through the Bank of Osage City. The family would request donations be placed to this fund in lieu of flowers or gifts.
