Ashley Weinkauf

May 11, 1992 — February 23, 2026

Ashley Marie Weinkauf, 33, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away after a long battle with heart failure and addiction.

She was born on May 11, 1992, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Joe Weinkauf and Tina Weinkauf. Ashley grew up in Topeka and later in Scranton, Kansas, where she graduated from Santa Fe Trail High School.

She was many things: a mother, a sister, a daughter, a granddaughter, an auntie, and a friend. She loved with her entire being and was an extremely generous person. She enjoyed poetry, reading, writing, and spending time with her family and friends.

At the age of 23, just months after giving birth to her second child, Ashley suffered a massive stroke, but she pulled through. She was soon recovering and moved to her own home, where she resided with her children.

Throughout her life, she was headstrong in everything she did, which sometimes led her down interesting life paths. She loved her family with her entire heart and soul, and she will be dearly missed.

Ashley was preceded in death by her mother, Tina Weinkauf; her older brother, Brian Bennett; her aunt, Amy Thomas; and her grandfather, Gary Weinkauf.

She is survived by her two children, Aries Lee Jones (13) of Topeka, Kansas, and Lilith Noelle Folsom (10) of Kansas City, Kansas; her father, Joe Weinkauf; her brothers, Phillip and Daniel Weinkauf, and her grandmother, Irene Weinkauf, all of Topeka, Kansas. She is also survived by her sister, Samantha Weinkauf (William and Mitchell Bach) of Independence, Missouri, along with many other grandparents, cousins, aunts, and uncles.

May she finally be at peace and experiencing the love she always wanted and more than deserved in the Lord's embrace. We will miss you, Ashley Marie. Services will be held, Saturday, March 7th at 2pm at the Westside Christian Church in Topeka, Ks.
