Arla J. Johnson

Arla J. Johnson, 86, of Topeka, KS, passed away November 3, 2022 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. She was born August 31, 1936 and raised on a farm near Lebo, KS. Arla was the only child of Dean and Letha (King) Siebuhr.

She graduated from Lebo High School in 1955 and attended Clark's Business School in Topeka. Arla worked for the State of Kansas in several different agencies for almost 30 years and later worked for the Legislature for 5 more.

She was united in marriage to Claude R. Johnson at the Baptist Church in Lebo on June 9, 1957. They were married 56 years when he passed away on June 5, 2014, just 4 days shy of their 57th wedding anniversary.

Arla was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Claude. Premature infant daughters also preceded her in death on June 9, 1958.

Cremation has taken place and at her request there will be no services.
