Anne Elizabeth Fund

Anne Elizabeth Fund (Podmore), age 70, passed away on April 9th, 2016 in the hospital after enjoying a lifetime of bad habits.

Anne is survived by her children, Vicki Slusser of St Charles, MO and Amy Hayes of Topeka, KS; and her three grandchildren, Jordan Slusser, Jaden Slusser, and Ava Hayes.

Anne spent 30 enjoyable years as History Department Secretary at Washburn University.

At Anne's request there will be no memorial service. Instead the family invites you to The Classic Bean Espresso Coffee House in Fairlawn Plaza on Sunday, April 17th any time between 1-3pm to raise a glass of wine or coffee in her memory.

In lieu of flowers donations can be offered in Anne's name to: Cat Association of Topeka (http://www.topekacat.org/) or Midland Care Hospice (http://www.midlandcareconnection.org/).

A FALLEN LIMB

A limb has fallen from the family tree. I keep hearing a voice that says "Grieve not for me. Remember the best times, the laughter, the song, The good life I lived while I was strong. Continue my heritage, I'm counting on you. Keep smiling and surely the sun will shine through. My mind is at ease, my soul is at rest, Remembering all, how I truly was blessed. Continue traditions, no matter how small, Go on with your life, don't worry about falls. I miss you all dearly, so keep up your chin, Until the day comes we are together again."
