Anita Louise (Nichols) Swisher
October 5, 1953 — January 28, 2025
Anita Louise (Nichols) Swisher peacefully passed away with family at her bedside on January 28, 2025. She was 71 years old.
She will be remembered for her caring heart, radiant smile and infectious laugh. Anita led a full and active life and was ready to be called into the Glory of her loving Savior and reunited with her parents and brother.
Anita was preceded in death by her parents Wesley and Marie Nichols and brother Wesley (Gene) Nichols. She leaves behind her 3 children Jacob Swisher, Renee & Andy Cassel, Stephanie & Michael Borders, their father Michael Swisher, and 5 grandchildren Ashlyn (fiancé Michael), Hannah, Audrey, Ryder and Emelyn.
Her children and grandchildren want to give our sincere gratitude to Via Christi Nursing Home for their loving care which both enriched and prolonged Anita's life.

A memorial service will be held at Mount Moriah Cemetery, 10507 Holmes Road, Kansas City, MO, in March.
