Alberta “Casey” Schiesser

Alberta "Casey" Schiesser, 69, of Emporia KS passed away Saturday October 3rd at Stormont Vail in Topeka KS after a brief illness.

Casey was born in Parsons KS to Paul and Dorothy Babb. She was one of 6 children. Casey was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved sister Pauline, brother Bobby, and grandson Carter.

Casey is survived by her husband, Gary, her daughters, Kelley Cole (Chris), Mindy Copen (Angelia Farris), her son, Gary David, and grandchildren, LT, Tristyn, Samantha Vann, Malachi, and Addison.

Casey worked as a nurse and a foster parent before her retirement. She remained loved by countless foster children years after they left her care.

Casey loved to cook, play computer games, shop online, and she loved Christmas, but her greatest joy came from her kids and grandkids. She was generous, affectionate, and will be deeply Missed.

Following organ donation, cremation is planned at Midwest Cremation Society. Private family gathering planned.
