Adrian Lee Barnette

Adrian Lee Barnette, 77, of Topeka, KS, passed away January 17, 2024, at Stormont-Vail Health Care.

He was born April 8, 1946, in Akron, OH the son of Audice and Ada (Whytsell) Barnette.

Adrian served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War.

He was instrumental in having a positive impact on the lives of many young men while volunteering with Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts in the Topeka area.

He enjoyed photographing weddings for Wichers Photograph and retired from the State of Kansas as a Computer Systems Analyst.

Adrian married Kathryn Elizabeth "Beth" Braddock. She preceded him in death on January 12, 2006. Survivors include a daughter, Tashi Barnette, son, Christian (Ashley Bettis) Barnette, two brothers, Audie (Margie) Barnette, Arnold (Karen) Barnette, and a brother-in-law, George Harpley. Eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive. Adrian was also preceded in death by his parents Audice and Ada Barnette along with a sister, Aurelia Harpley.

Cremation has taken place. Celebration of Life services will be announced at a later date.
